In the title compound, (C(10)H(24)N)(2)[Cu(2)Cl(6)], N,N-diisopropyl-butanamine is protonated on the N atom. The Cu(II) atom in the centrosymmetric [Cu(2)Cl(6)](2-) anion has a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. In the crystal, the cations and anions are connected by N-H⋯Cl and C-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds into layers parallel to (100).
