Abstract

Objective: Using complex system entropy method to analyze composing principle of anti-phthisis prescriptions.

Method: Collecting prescriptions for anti-phthisis and constructing database for it. Using revised mutual information, complex system entropy cluster to analyze association between herbs, core combinations of prescriptions.

Result: Based on analysis of 477 cases of prescriptions, the frequency of each herb in the database is computed. Moreover, 36 frequently used combinations of herbs and 34 core combinations are mined from the database by complex system entropy method.

Conclusion: Complex system entropy method is able to mine composing principle of prescriptions.
