Inter observer agreement in the assessment of the motor response of the Glasgow 'coma' scale

Clin Neurol Neurosurg. 1977;80(2):100-6. doi: 10.1016/s0303-8467(78)80067-5.

Abstract

The motor response of the Glasgow 'coma' scale is readily learned by nurses and doctors. It can be used as a reliable indicator of changes in the state of a comatose patient, as there is a high agreement rate between different observers.
