Abstract

The errors, as they appear in the databases of the Web of Science, found in the bibliographical citations of the works published in Psicothema were analyzed. The most frequent error found is citing the title of the journal as Psicothema, instead of Psicothema. The authors reveal the need to take more care when reviewing the titles of journals in the bibliographical references of the works. Such errors often prevent locating the works cited in the article. They also hinder authors' evaluation of the works and the journals because many bibliometric indicators used to establish the rankings of the best journals of a specialty are calculated based on the number of citations of works published in the journals.
