This article presents a case involving a solitary bone cyst in a 16-year-old boy who had a history of trauma in the affected region. Radiographs confirmed the presence of the cyst three years before treatment. A series of similarly produced panoramic radiographs demonstrated a chronologic picture of a solitary bone cyst, representing a lesion that was progressive rather than static. The patient was treated with curettage and experienced an uneventful recovery. The patient did not show any signs or symptoms of recurrence three years after treatment.
