Abstract
Objective:
To study on the chemical constituents of root of Cynanchum auriculatum Royle ex Wight.
Methods:
The constituents were isolated and purified by various chromatographic methods, and the spectroscopic methods (MS, NMR) were used to identify their sturctures.
Results:
Seven compounds were obtained and identified as: taraxasterol acetate (I), cynanchone A (II), succinic acid (III), betulinic acid (IV), kidjoranin (V), wilfoside CIN (VI), wilfoside KIN (VII).
Conclusion:
Compounds I-IV are isolated from this plant for the first time.
