[Therapeutic problems connected with keloid treatment--new treatment possibilities]

Abstract

Keloids are special type of skin lesions arising from sites of previous trauma. Keloids tend to extend beyond the original wound margin. The incidence of keloid formation is reported between 4-16% population. Authors in the following article describe therapeutic problems connected with keloid treatment.
