Abstract

Objectives: To study presurgical evaluation and surgical treatment of medically refractory epilepsy.

Results: Total effective rate of the surgical treatment was 87.7% and most patients have better life than preoperation.

Conclusion: Surgical treatment with accurate preoperative location of the epileptogenic zone and suitable operative techniques is an effective method in the treatment of refractory epilepsy.
