Intracoronary aspiration for bailout management of the no-reflow during percutaneous coronary intervention

Int J Cardiol. 2006 May 24;109(3):402-5. doi: 10.1016/j.ijcard.2005.05.034. Epub 2005 Jun 20.

Abstract

The no-reflow phenomenon is frequently associated with adverse outcomes in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). We describe two cases in which the no-reflow phenomenon developed during PCI and was successfully resolved by direct intracoronary aspiration using the Export aspiration catheter.
