Abstract

PIP: The author examines socioeconomic changes occurring in Poland after World War II in relation to the spatial distribution of the population and urbanization of the country and its regions. The development of urban industrial agglomerations is discussed, and the degree of urbanization in Poland is compared with that in 23 selected European countries, the United States, and Japan (SUMMARY IN ENG, RUS)
