[Synchronous and primary adenocarcinoma: renal tumor and gallbladder incidentaloma]

Abstract

Objective: To report a case of two synchronous primary adenocarcinomas involving two different organ systems.

Methods/results: The urological assessment of a patient with hematuria disclosed an intravesicular polypoid mass and a right renal mass that were treated by surgery.

Conclusions: The histopathological findings demonstrated a clear cell adenocarcinoma of the kidney and another primary adenocarcinoma of the gallbladder. The patient has a prolonged survival.
