Acute mediastinitis is uncommon. When it occurs, it usually follows an esophageal perforation or thoracic surgery.
Case report: We report on a case of a ten-year-old girl with non traumatic mediastinitis secondary to a pleuro-pulmonary infection due to Klebsiella pneumoniae.
