Objective: To present a new and reliable method for treatment of failed hypospadias repair.
Method: The scrotal axial skin flap based on anterior scrotal vessels was designed and used in reconstruction of the urethra. 7 patients with failed hypospadias repair have been treated with this method since 1996.
Result: There was no any complication in all the patients.
Conclusion: The advantages of this method are that the flap has good blood supply and the potentiality of growth. It is suitable for treatment of hypospadias, especially the failed hypospadias repair.
